Programming Key Enabling Technologies

The (continued) development and application of key enabling technologies is performed by many organisations in our ecosystem. Promoting them is usually part of programmes and projects with a broader technical, societal and/or economic focus. Below are some of the instruments we use as KIA ST or with which we have an important collaboration.

Broadly Supported Programmes

Joint programming is performed jointly from within Broadly Supported Programmes (BGPs) based on particular themes that are closely related to one or more key enabling technologies. Four Broadly Supported Programmes are active within the KIA ST: High Tech equipment (NXTGEN HIGHTECH), MedTechNL, CS4NL and Exceed.

Calls

Calls are regularly published by partners for grant applications for projects in which key enabling technologies play an important role. This page highlights some calls that focus specifically on the (continued) development of key enabling technologies and follows the projects that can be carried out thanks to these grants.

National Growth Fund

In projects receiving funding from the National Growth Fund, key enabling technologies often play a crucial role. Due to the scale of these projects, the importance for the development of key enabling technologies is high. The KIA ST brings together the objectives of these projects and tracks progress and results.
